Your first telehealth visit: a little preparation goes a long way
Your appointment is a chance to talk about your concerns, ask questions, and plan your next steps. A few minutes of preparation can help you feel more comfortable and make the most of that conversation.
Bring your priorities
Write down the main concerns you want to discuss. Keep your medication list, allergies, and pharmacy contact details nearby. If you have relevant lab results or records from another provider, ask OnPoint how to share them securely through CharmHealth.
Make space for a good conversation
Choose a quiet, private place with good lighting. Charge your phone, tablet, or computer, and check that the camera, microphone, and internet connection work. Review your appointment instructions beforehand. If you need help connecting or require accessibility support, contact the practice before your visit.
Complete your forms
Review and complete the intake and consent documents sent through CharmHealth. Have your questions ready, and follow the instructions for joining your scheduled visit. For OnPoint telehealth care, you must be physically in Maryland during the appointment.
Know what you are requesting
OnPoint’s new-patient primary-care telehealth visit is $129 for 45 minutes. An initial weight-management visit is $149 for 60 minutes. Primary-care and weight-management follow-ups are $89 for 30 minutes. Choose the correct visit type when requesting your appointment.
Reservation payments count toward your visit fee. Medications and laboratory testing are separate. New-patient requests require approval; making a payment alone does not confirm an appointment.
